Tasty Tuna PattiesServes 4 people
Takes 30 minutes Ingredients4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
425 grams canned tuna, drained 1 egg 1 carrot, grated 1 celery stick, finely sliced Plain flour 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil Side salad, to serve |
Instructions
1. Cook the potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water until tender. Drain.
2. Mash the potato in a large bowl
3. Combine the tuna and egg with the mash.
4. Stir in the carrot and celery.
5. Place some flour on a plate. Divide the mixture into 12 portions. Shape each portion into a patty. Coat both sides lightly in the flour.
6. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. In batches, cook the patties for 3-4 minutes each side or until golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to drain.
7. Serve with a side salad.
